About Us

Total Mobile Power is a research and development company headed by Chris Fotherby, an electronics engineer with over 25 years experience in leading edge product design. He was Chief Engineer at Navman Electronics for 10 years and has also worked as a design engineer in leading companies in New Zealand and the United Kingdom including Fisher and Paykel Electronics, Rakon, Cambridge Instruments, and Cossor Electronics. Chris has a particular interest in developing products for marine and other off-grid environments.

Total Mobile Power Ltd has received grants from the NZ Foundation for Research Science and Technology to assist the development of private sector R& D and the NZ Trade and Enterprise to assist in the patenting of new technology.
